Description

Motorola GM340 A simple and effective two-way radio for vehicle-based staff, the GM340 can easily increase productivity by keeping users in contact with base and the team.

Easy-to-use with push-button operation and LED indicators requiring minimal training, the GM340 is data capable allowing for customisation to reflect the way that the organisation works. The functionality can also be expanded with third-party options boards such as voice storage, to avoid missing an important message when away from the vehicle.

The radio can be configured to sound the vehicle's horn or activate the lights when a call is received. Alternatively calls can be forwarded to another user when the vehicle is empty. Emergency signalling sends a help signal to a pre-defined person or group of users with a pre-recorded message that could state user's location to expedite assistance. If a lone worker does not respond to a warning signal, an emergency procedure, as defined by the organisation, is activated, helping to keep the workforce safe.
